+ 1 - 1 | § ¶Another round of Interviews
I wrote a really long entry about the Google Interview experience. It was a REALLY good entry, but I don't have the heart to do it again.
Here's the short version.
I didn't want to bother at first, I only went because I was being harped on from 10 different directions (none of which were people I worked with, incidentally) about "throwing away such a wonderful opportunity." A wonderful opportunity to get paid to do what I love, like the place I work, and enjoy the people I work with? To have the kind of boss who I both like and respect? Sorry, already got all that.
But I went, and I did really well, and I think they all liked me. I am, however, scared that they liked me, because I liked them, and I hate making difficult decisions.
Also, I made some "world's smallest violin" comment to Amanda Camp about a year ago, when she had to choose between google and microsoft. And I officially retract the violin.
