I feel my response was appropriate for such a ridiculous, often resentful statement.

Every now and then, when Murphy pops out of the shadows with his splintery broomstick, it's comforting to know I never did.

I know it's partially my fault for
1) Leaving diaryland, where there was actually a community and a way to detect when there was something new to read from people you actually liked to read
2) Not updating, ever.
However, I just thought I'd say- I kind of miss the days when it mattered if I updated.
